Hillary Clinton has started up a new website called Republican Against Trump and offers free stickers to those who support it.
According to Washington Examiner,
Hillary Clinton has launched a new website and Facebook page to court Republicans who aren’t satisfied with presumptive nominee Donald Trump.
The website was registered on May 27; ads promoting the site and Facebook page to reach Republicans in the #NeverTrump movement began circulating last week, according to reports.
On the website, dissatisfied Republicans are prompted to enter their information to “receive a free Republicans Against Trump sticker.” The website goes on to add that in giving your information, you believe that Donald Trump “does not represent me” or “my values as an American. He does not speak for me and I will not vote for him.”
The Facebook page includes a similar background and had 475 “likes” by the time of publication.
Is this a good campaign tactic or just a low blow to Trump? Should presidential candidates be able to use social media as a persuasion to win votes or should their websites be kept professional?
