When Kellogg Company learned that one of their flour mills in Georgia had been compromised, they scrambled to recall the dozens of snacks listed below. Because peanut residue was found in the mill, many popular Kellogg’s snacks have been potentially tainted with the highly allergic legume. And the FDA is working hard with Kellogg’s to ensure America’s safety.
Because Kellogg’s doesn’t want their consumers to get sick and file a lawsuit, they are voluntarily recalling the massive amounts of products that were potentially tainted with peanut.
These include famous Kellogg’s cookies, brownies and crackers that millions enjoy every day. Check out the complete list below!
Because the wheat flour produced at Georgia’s Grain Craft flour company was found to have undeclared peanut residue, those with peanut allergies are at risk – especially if you enjoy Kellogg’s snacks and treats.
Potentially tainted foods were distributed throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
No one has suffered a reaction – yet…
“While consumers with severe peanut allergies should avoid the recalled products, the FDA has stated that the amount of peanut exposure from the flour is low and not expected to cause adverse health effects in the vast majority of peanut allergic consumers,” Kellogg said in a statement on its website. “The company has received no reports of related illness to date.”
