One day after the city of Ferguson, Missouri declined to turn their police department over to the federal government, Loretta Lynch filed a federal lawsuit against the city. Rather than call it a nationalized police force, encompassing both state and local law authorities, the Obama caliphate prefer to call it federal suggestions for enforcing the law. Somehow a federal lawsuit doesn’t strike me as a suggestion. Sounds more like an edict to me.
From “Obama Announces His Plans to Nationalize Local and State Law Enforcement”:
“Our approach to our drug laws, for example, and criminalization of nonviolent offenses rather than taking more of a public health approach — that may be something that has an impact in eroding trust between law enforcement and communities.”
“Law enforcement agencies should acknowledge the role of policing in past and present injustice and discrimination and how it is a hurdle to the promotion of community trust. The Federal Government, as well as state and local agencies, should encourage and incentivize higher education for law enforcement officers.”
“Law enforcement agencies should engage community members in the training process…. [government] should ensure that basic recruit and in-service officer training include curriculum on the disease of addiction… Law enforcement agencies should implement training for officers that covers policies for interactions with the LGBTQ population, including issues such as determining gender identity for arrest placement, the Muslim, Arab, and South Asian communities, and immigrant or non-English speaking groups, as well as reinforcing policies for the prevention of sexual misconduct and harassment..”
Sounds more like The PC Guide to Law Enforcement. Obama and the Injustice Department has been trying to foist these guidelines in Ferguson ever since the death of that thug, Michael Brown. Eric Holder invaded the town while investigating Officer Darren Wilson’s shooting of Brown, shortly after he strong armed a clerk at a local convenience store and stealing cigars. But try as he might, Holder was unable to indict Wilson and in fact was forced to conclude that he had acted properly. Therefore, he held that although Wilson was innocent, the Ferguson Police Department was inherently racist.
The Injustice Department then laid out plans on how to deracialize Ferguson and their police department. After Holder resigned, Loretta Lynch picked up the torch and is now demonizing the Ferguson police.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Ferguson’s decision to reject the deal left the department no choice except to file a civil-rights lawsuit.
“The residents of Ferguson have waited nearly a year for the city to adopt an agreement that would protect their rights and keep them safe. … They have waited decades for justice. They should not be forced to wait any longer,” Lynch told a Washington news conference.
The Justice Department complaint accuses Ferguson of routinely violating residents’ rights and misusing law enforcement to generate revenue — a practice the government alleged was “ongoing and pervasive.”
Ferguson leaders “had a real opportunity here to step forward, and they’ve chosen to step backward,” Lynch said.
The city actually tried to work with the Injustice Department and added 7 amendments to Lynch’s original extortion sheet. The problem is that implementing the plan as proposed by Obama’s caliphate would cost the city of Ferguson four million dollars the first year alone. In a city where the budget is only 14.5 million and is running a deficit of which 2.8 million is not paid for, the nearly four million is not feasible.
The city tried to negotiate with the Injustice Department to find a plan both Lynch and Ferguson could live with, but the Injustice Department refused to negotiate and filed the suit just hours later. Ironically, part of the federal plan calls for stopping and fining less people, since the fines affect poor blacks disproportionately and creates a financial hardship for them.
Without arguing whether the fines are right or wrong, let’s look at the effect the Injustice Department plan would have for the citizens of Ferguson, which is about 70% black. Already they are facing two new tax increases that won’t be enough to close the 2.8 million dollar gap. In the 2010 census, it was determined that Ferguson had a population of 21,203 people. Assuming that only half of that number actually are adults working at a job, each and every citizen of Ferguson would see an increase in their taxes of 400 dollars.
Ferguson needs to stall the lawsuit until Obama leaves office and the PC police are thrown out on their collective asses.
