Matt Hickling, a thirty year old nurse, met Abby, a four year old leukemia patient. They immediately got along and formed a strong bond. After some time, Abby told her mother that she wanted to marry Matt! Her mother laughed at first but decided to inform Matt via text when Abby insisted.

After hearing the news, Matt posted it on Facebook with Abby’s permission.

With her mother’s permission, Matt also wrote an update to his post.
