###
CYNTHIA McFADDEN:
When Hillary Clinton says that her server is absolutely safe – you’re laughing.
MARCEL LEHEL LAZAR (GUCCIFER):
That’s a lie.
McFADDEN:
That’s a lie?
GUCCIFER:
Yes.
McFADDEN:
It’s not safe.
GUCCIFER:
It’s not safe at all.

Guccifer claims he has two megabytes of documents but he didn’t say they came from Hillary’s server directly, but he did say the documents were too hot to handle and involves national security. That sounds just like what the FBI and the Justice Department found in Hillary’s email. The problem is there is no way to confirm that he actually hacked into the email server. Fox News shared Guccifer’s description of how he hacked the email with IT techs, who said that what he said is very possible. He could be angling for a plea deal and holding back the documents until someone cuts him a deal.
From LawNewz:
Understandably, production on a special might take longer than usual — but given the story — networks have turned interviews around in mere minutes.
The delay cost them what would’ve been a huge exclusive, or at least seemed to prompt them to hurry and put something out as Fox News went with its own story and interview with Lazar late Wednesday. Fox News clearly did their interview with the hacker after he arrived in the United States. As they mentioned, they visited him in a Virginia jail.
We reached out to NBC News for clarification and a spokesman declined to comment at this time.
NBC announced the airing of the interview after Fox News broke the story nation wide.
