Trump Responds To The “NO” Bush Endorsement

The last two Republican presidents have endorsed every GOP nominee since each of them left the White House, but will both refrain this election season from endorsing 2016 presumptive nominee Donald Trump.

It could have something to do with Trump’s attacks against George W. Bush during the run-up to the South Carolina primary when he boldly blamed the former president for failing to prevent the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.

Partial transcript:

TRUMP: The war in Iraq was perhaps the worst decision ever made in this country’s history. It totally destabilized the Middle East. It was a total disaster. It was made by Bush. I took Jeb Bush on very hard, he was very nasty to me, spent $15, $20 million dollars on negative ads on me. You know, nobody mentions that, they just say I was very nasty to him.
BAIER: So you think they’re decision has to do with Jeb Bush?
TRUMP: Of course it does. It does there and I criticized his decision to go into Iraq.

Hmmm well I don’t see why Trump would care about a Bush endorsement, and I am not surprised the Bush’s aren’t giving out an endorsement, since Trump has criticized them for so long. We will see how this election goes.
