New App Tells What Stores and Manufacturers Support Liberal Causes

Ever wonder where your money goes after it hits the store register?  You no longer have to wonder thanks to a new app called 2nd Vote.    You just punch in the store’s name and the app tells you what causes they support.  I think it’s an ingenious idea.  Let’s say we know a store supports abortion and imagine if 1 million people stopped doing business with that store.  Either the store changes policies or you starve the cause.  It’s a win-win situation.

Don’t think it’s possible?  Recently, Land’s End featured bitch Gloria Steinhem in it’s Easter catalog.  That set off many of their customers and forced them to issue an apology to their customers.  A clothing store that sells maternity clothes features the biggest advocate for abortion in the country.  So why did they do it?  Extortion.  Ultra liberals are in the minority, but they scream louder and threaten boycotts and consumers who hold conservative beliefs stand idly by and do nothing.  That’s why the liberals win with corporations who only scratch where it itches.

Some choices are very easy.  Starbuck’s CEO once said that they didn’t want customers who don’t accept gay marriage.  But Dunkin Donuts embraces conservative values as displayed on their Christmas cups.  There are a lot of corporations near the bottom of the list for good moral values.  They include Samsung, Aveda, Goldman Sachs, Clif Bar, Timberland and Legg Mason.

Don’t underestimate the power of the wallet.  Even CEOs with strong liberal values have to answer to stockholders.  If they don’t, they become ex-CEOs.  Right now, 2nd Vote has 140,000 members and they expect to have one million by the end of 2016.  If each one of those million redirect just one thousand dollars in spending, that would amount to one billion dollars.  A billion here and a billion there and before you know it, you are talking about some real money.

I can even name an instance where it has worked.  The largest grocery chain in the United States is Kroger’s.  They allow their customers to bring their guns into the store as long as they do it within the laws of each state.  Bloomberg and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense (What an illiterate name) have fought Kroger’s, trying to force them to ban guns.  Kroger’s refused every time and every time they do their sales go up.

There’s power in those dollar bills.  Use it.
