Pet dog Miley, a black lab mix, will receive a certificate for bringing home a pound of marijuana that started an investigation on Thursday. Miley went out for a normal walk and came back carrying quite the find!
At first, the dogs owner thought that Miley was carrying a bad of tore up trash, but on closer look realized it was illegal drugs.
The owner then contacted law enforcement and turned over the one-pound cache, which appeared to have been packaged in several baggies for sale and was valued at $1,000, Knotts said.
Maybe Miley was a police dog in another life because she seems to be skilled at hunting down crime. Keep it up Miley!
