Rep. Louie Gohmert to Democrats: It’s Not Guns, It’s Radical Islam!

Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-TX) had a few choice words for Democrat cry babies over their floor sit-in on gun control. Democrats brought House business to a stand-still to demand votes on “gun control” measures following a mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub earlier this month.

Not to point out the obvious or anything, but we’re talking the Drama Queen Party here. In a fiery exchange with Democrat sit-in-ers, Gohmert explained the issue in terms even DemoLibs could understand: “We are talking about radical Islam! Radical Islam killed these people!”

Some of the brain surgeons from the opposite side of the aisle replied with: “No fly! No gun!”

On Thursday Gohmert described his exchange with Democrat sit-in-ers to Fox News’s Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade:

Calling the chamber takeover “unprecedented,” Gohmert continued:

“They weren’t just standing up for rights, they were taking away rights. … Folks were there using the instruments that helped gain civil rights to try to take away people’s civil rights.”

Talk about Democrat hypocrisy. But I repeat myself.

Referencing the 80,000+ people on the “No Fly” list that includes fewer than 1,000 Americans, Gohmert said:

“If this admin would protect us from people coming in, then we wouldn’t have to worry about maybe a thousand people… It’s insane to try to take away our civil rights, our Second Amendment rights. And I’ll tell ya, the Gun Free zones are where these terrorists like to go because they know they’re protected.”

Gohmert also blasted Dems for fund-raising off the Orlando tragedy. “It’s just incredible that this went on this long” he said, adding that Democrats violated a “myriad” of rules with their floor sit-in.

Gohmert also took a swipe at the typical DemoLib reaction to just about everything they dislike or don’t get: Ban it! Restrict it! Tax it! “Our rights are worth fighting for, and some of us are going to keep doing that,” concluded the congressman.

Preach it, bro.
