Remember that time when the Baltimore riots broke out over the racist police shootings young black men in the streets doing nothing but being pillars of strength for their respected communities? Remember who the people of Baltimore found courage to fight off the oppression of the racist police? Remember when they made it oh-so-clear that they didn’t want the racist, murdering police to come around anymore?

You don’t remember? Well, I’m sure it is because it never happened. Like, at all…well maybe not that last part. And not exactly like that.

Freddie Grey had died in police custody. He was buried. Then the riots started. The masses were angry, and when masses are angry, they get stupid and destructive. With no apparent target past the police, they proceeded to burn out cars, smash local business, loot local business, and proceeded to act like a bunch a wild animals.

The riots encouraged violence, especially towards the police. They didn’t want them around.

Well, the police accommodated them…

The Mayor of Baltimore gave the rioters all the reason to continue the mayhem when she said, “give those who wished to destroy space to do that”. She’s an idiot. But that’s beside the point. the rioters continued, and eventually the police presence started to diminish.

Now today, the locals of Baltimore are crying out that they want the police back. No joke. It has become the wild, wild, east in Baltimore since the police presence has been lacking. Many residents have complained:

“It’s so bad, people are afraid to let their kids outside. People wake up with shots through their windows. Police used to sit on every corner, on the top of the block. These days? They’re nowhere.”
