Seven Obamalike Achievements of Marco Rubio in the US Senate

Julie Hahn, a writer for Breitbart News and someone you should keep your eyes on in the future posted a column on Marco Rubio’s Senate “accomplishments.”  I use the word accomplishment lightly, since his actions paralleled Obama on the same subjects.

Gang of Eight immigration reform bill…This bill written and promoted by Rubiodid not do one thing to secure the borders, would grant eventual amnesty to 12 million illegal aliens and would pass out 33 million green cards in the first 10 years.

From Hahn’s article:

Reports ranging from the The National Review, to the Tampa Bay Times, to the Washington Post, to the New Yorker have all suggested that the Gang of Eight bill would have likely not passed the Senate if not for Sen. Rubio’s tireless efforts. Indeed, Rubio was the key salesman of the Obama-backed immigration agenda. As Ryan Lizza of The New Yorker reported at the time, Rubio served as “the Gang’s official ambassador to the right,” and was able to convince prominent conservatives to promote the open borders legislation.

Lizza wrote: “[Democratic Senator Bob] Menendez told me that Rubio’s role was to ‘work over the conservative universe, particularly the conservative opinion-maker universe,’ in order to ‘neutralize them’ and, in some cases, ‘proselytize them.’ Schumer said, ‘He’s the real deal.’”

Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin told Lizza, “[Rubio] has been invaluable… He’s willing to go on the most conservative talk shows, television and radio, Rush Limbaugh and the rest.”

Obamatrade…Rubio was the 60th vote that allowed fast tracking of the TPP trade bill that takes sovereignty from the US and transfers it to countries like Brunei.  Rubio also voted against an amendment which would prevent countries like China from manipulating their money in order to get an unfair advantage over trade with the United States.

Prevent blocking of Muslim immigrants and terrorists…  Rubio told Fox’s Sean Hannity that he would hate to block money from Obama to be used in bringing Syrian and other refugees into the United States.

From the Hahn article:

Rubio has been one of the most ardent champions for increasing Muslim migration. The U.S. has admitted roughly 1.5 million migrants from Muslim countries since 9/11 on a permanent lifetime basis. Yet Rubio has sought to grow that number vastly. In 2015, Rubiointroduced an immigration bill which would have allowed for an unlimited increase in Muslim migration.

H-1B Visas…Not only didn’t Rubio try to stop his corporate donors from firing Americans and replacing them with foreign workers, but Rubio even introduced a bill to triple the amount of H-1B visas handed out annually. (Which the American worker taking it anally) but the bill would also automatically give their spouses work permits , too.

From Hahn:

Shortly before the Disney workers got the axe, Rubio introduced legislation in January of 2015 to massively expand the H-1B program. Rubio’s 2015 Immigration Innovation Act would have tripled the number of H-1B visas. Interestingly, the bill was endorsed by Disney’s CEO Bob Iger via his immigration lobbying group, the Partnership for a New American Economy. According to Open Secrets, the Walt Disney Corporation is one of Rubio’s biggest financial backers, having donated more than $2 million.

Blocked Food Stamp Reform…Marco Rubio is almost the only republican to take the democrat’s side on this bill.  The bill would have saved taxpayers about 10 billion a year by blocking families with substantial assets from receiving food stamps.

Benghazi…Rubio was 1/3 of the Axis of Evil on Libya.  US intervention turned the country over to the terrorists.  Action was endorsed by Obama, Clinton and Rubio.  The Washington Examiner did a story on Rubio’s support, entitled, “Rubio takes the lead to support Obama’s war in Libya.”

From that article:

“Rubio proposes that the Senate authorize the president’s use of force in Libya, and that the authorization state that the aim of the use of force should be the removal of the Qaddafi regime.”

Worst Attendance Record…  Rubio ceded his role as Senator from Florida upon his entry into the presidential race.  He has missed 59 votes, including many controversial votes that could have hurt his campaign.  Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders missed only 10 votes each.  Sen Grassley on the other hand has not missed a Senate vote in 22 years, six months and six days.

Rubio has also failed to appear for his committee assignments.

Rubio is Obama Light.
