Terrorists have struck France for the third time within the last two years. This time they struck in Nice, France. Terrorists drove a lorry (Heavy duty truck) through a crowd on the promenade, where people were gathered to celebrate Bastille Day, the day the Bastille was stormed, leading to French independence. A gunman was firing from within the truck. Police have killed the driver of the lorry but there is some confusion on whether there was a second man in the truck, now navigating through the crowds.
Heavy Police presence is on hand and they are now allowing the crowd to leave the area to go back to their hotels , homes and cars. At the latest count, there are 73 people dead. That count is expected to rise during the night. Witnesses described seeing bodies everywhere.
