It’s official: Tebowing saves lives! Former NFL Quarterback and Christian conservative Tim Tebow was on a flight over the weekend when a fellow passenger’s heart stopped beating.
The outspoken Christian was known during his playing days for writing scripture verses on his eye black in college and inspiring the trend of “Tebowing” – dropping to one knee in prayer. Tebow went to comfort the man’s family and lead people in prayer, and the man miraculously was revived.
Passengers on a Delta flight were shocked to see former NFL star Tim Tebow rush to offer aid to a man who suffered a medical emergency on the plane.
Tebow was on the flight from Atlanta to Phoenix when a passenger appeared to have heart problems and went unconscious.
Other passengers and crew members helped the man until the plane landed, including Tebow, who reportedly moved from his first class seat to the back of the plane, according to a Facebook post by Richard V Gotti.
Tebow then started praying with the man’s wife and other passengers as the plane landed.
Gotti shared the story of Tebow’s actions saying that after the man went unconscious he ‘watched strangers from all over the world and every ethnicity come to the help of this man for over an hour’!
