Donald Trump may not have directly been the cause of Ford changing their mind and building their new 2 billion dollar plant here in this country, but you have a hard time denying he did have a lot to do with the reversal.  His threat to add large surcharges to products made in another country by an American company, could force Ford to back off but it could also be that by bringing to the forefront, voters have recognized it for the problem that it is and that pressure forced them to stand down.

His detractors, will of course deny Trump had any effect on the decision just as they mock Trump when he says he will build a border wall and get Mexico to pay for it.  Is it really that absurd for the press to believe Trump can build the border wall with Mexico footing the bill?  Not really.  He built a juggernaut of a campaign and got the press to pay for it.  He’s spent the least of all major candidates, yet he has a large lead throughout the country.  He said things that liberals consider to be outrageous and so they poured it on, replaying Trump’s words over and over and the voters liked what he was saying.

They gave him press that money just can’t buy.  If Trump beats Hillary, and I can see that happening, the press will have four years to bemoan the fact that they built Donald Trump.  Trump had one game plan.  Say whatever you feel like and never back down and never apologize.  A refreshing change from the girley men republicans in congress who I believe you could mug by mail.

You know what could be really interesting if Trump should win the presidency?  What happens to the GOP that fought him all the way through the primaries and general election?  They would have no access to the leader of their own party if Trump is smart.  Bucking the establishment GOP is what will have gotten him there. The media, too.  What if Fox News, the NYT, CNN and other liberal media find they have no access to the administration?  I would deny them seats at the daily briefings, explaining that since they make stuff up, they really don’t need to be there and they have to make room for real reporters.
