When CNN mouthpiece Don Lemon tried to get a rise out of KISS frontman Gene Simmons about Donald Trump, Simmons refused to take the bait, instead praising many aspects of the 2016 presidential candidate’s political beliefs and values.
Simmons was a former contestant on Donald Trump’s hit show “Celebrity Apprentice” and clearly has a great deal of respect for the star. When Lemon asked Simmons if he would have Trump change the tone of his rhetoric, trying to bait him further, Simmons refused to follow Lemon’s attempt to cause some controversy.
