Eleven year old Chris Gaither was all alone in his home, when a man broke in and began looking for things to steal. Gaither’s step-father taught him how to use a gun and when the time came to use that knowledge, he grabbed a 9mm handgun and confronted the burglar, threatening to shoot him. gaither told the burglar he was going to kill him if he didn’t get out of the house. Gaither said at that point the burglar threatened him and pushed past him.
Gaither fired 11 shots without hitting the burglar but the twelfth shot found it’s mark and Gaither said the man started crying like a baby. Police have not released the name of the burglar.
