A patient, whose name, sex and country are omitted recently underwent stomach surgery to remove the offending object(s). The video begins after the patient is anesthetized and an incision is made through their skin and into the stomach.

Doctors say this is not as rare as you might expect. What they say happens is that patients suffering from Bulimia will use toothbrushes to induce vomiting and inadvertently swallow the object. They can only be removed through surgery. Patients are then sent to see a psychologist to prevent further problems.
In this particular patient, they found 18 toothbrushes, one fold up corkscrew and a pair of tweezers along with an object they couldn’t identify.
