Parallel parking is difficult for many drivers, and most of us probably remember backing into those pesky orange cones while attempting to learn the skill during drivers’ ed class.
One driver in Virginia, however, ran into something a bit more expensive to repair than a traffic cone on Saturday while parallel parking — a $290,000 Ferrari.
The driver was attempting to park her Mercedes 380 SL outside of a coffee shop in Great Falls, according to Fox News, but as she reversed, she accidentally backed onto the luxury sports car.
The incident was caught on camera and posted to social media where car-lovers have been wincing as the driver of the Mercedes tried to move her vehicle off the nearly $300,000 limited-edition 458 Speciale.
A crowd of people gathered around the two cars, while a man who appeared to be the owner of the Ferrari asked the Mercedes driver, “Are you f***ing serious? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.”
“Oh my god, I’m shaking,” the woman said as she exited her car, which was still lodged on top of the Ferrari.
