There is nothing more tragic in this world than a parent being forced to bury their child. For one man, it was almost more than he could bare after his 6-year-old daughter died tragically in a collision with a drunk driver, but what he find’s out after would change him forever.
According to HeroViral, in 2014 Rick Ellis lost everything. His six-year-old daughter Lindsey was killed in a car crash with a drunk driver. Even worse than that, the driver of the other car was a woman named Christy M. Johnson Ellis. She was Rick’s ex-partner and Lindsey’s mothers.
Rick was beyond devastated. But instead of allowing himself to be fully swallowed up by grief, Rick decided that he would try and make the world a better place — a place where things like this don’t happen every single day. Standing at his daughter’s grave he recorded and immensely moving messages that he hopes will inspire people to be more responsible when they drink.
