The home of the Grand Slam looked more like WWE’s SumerSlam early Saturday morning in upstate New York.
Video of a donnybrook inside an Albany Denny’s has been viewed close to 4 million times since being uploaded to Facebook this weekend.
The clip was posted by Nick Nack Pattiwhack, a comedian with 75,000 Twitter followers and a sizable audience on Facebook. He appears to narrate the scene before, during and after the entire restaurant descends into chaos.
“I didn’t get my food yet,” he says as a trio of patrons continue to throw punches in a nearby booth.
“We live, baby. Yeah,” he adds, casually sipping a drink in a comedic manner as he turns the camera on himself.
The Times Union reports the bare-knuckle brawl broke out just after 4 a.m. Saturday morning. No arrests were made.
It’s unclear what led to the late-night breakfast brouhaha, but things got out of hand quickly. Maybe because 4 a.m. on a Saturday morning in Denny’s usually means the patrons are drunk as an Irishman on St Patrick’s Day in Boston.
