Seriously, who did not see this coming?
Sam Asghari is allegedly threatening to release embarrassing information about signer Britney Spears as the two appear headed for divorce unless she renegotiates her prenup agreement with him.
Page Six reported that Asghari is “attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.”
A source close to the Spears camp responded to the news by saying, “It’s blackmail and it’ll never happen.”
The report said that Spears is worth approximately $70 million and she has to pay tens of thousands of dollars per month in child support to ex-husband Kevin Federline who takes care of their two sons: Sean Preston, 17 and Jayden, 16.
The report noted that Federline moved to Hawaii with the two boys this month in what critics say was an attempt to extend the child support payments because the state allows payments to continue until age 23 if the kids go to college.
Spears and Asghari’s split reportedly was triggered after the two had a fight over allegations of infidelity, according to a report.
The report said that Asghari confronted Spears “over rumors she stepped out on him,” which started a “huge fight.”
People Magazine confirmed the news with multiple sources who indicated that the couple decided to call it quits after only 14 months of marriage.
Asghari is said to have left the house and is now living on his own.
According to the publications, a source close to the situation stated, “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
TMZ’s report said that the marriage has been in “deep trouble” for months now, and that Asghari “wasn’t sleeping at the house much.”
The report added that Spears has allegedly “gotten physical with him in blowout fights that include frequent screaming matches.”
The two met in 2016 and married six years later in June 2022 at a small wedding that included about 60 people.
People Magazine said that people inside Spears’ inner circle planned an intervention for her earlier this year over concerns about her well-being, but it was canceled soon after.
I cannot say that I am the least bit surprised by this news.
Spears has been mentally unstable for quite some time and it does not appear to be getting any better.
Now, I do not believe that she should be in a conservatorship, but it seems she does need some guidance and serious mental help.
However, none of that matters if she doesn’t accept Christ into her heart.
The first step to change is allowing Christ to work through you.
