Why I Drove Over 50 Miles to See This Movie
When it comes to exposing the dark underside of the Democratic Party and ripping it to shreds, no one does it better than Dinesh D’Souza. There’s a reason this guy scares Lefties spitless. The author and film maker does it again with his latest offering, Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.
The movie opened on Friday. I saw it Sunday. I’m giving it a solid “Double D” rating. As in, Devastating to Democrats. (The documentary cracked the Top 10 at the box office over the weekend.)
D’Souza opens the first chapter of Hillary’s America by posing a simple question: Who are these Democrats? From there, D’Souza briefly recounts his much-publicized court case, community service, and incarceration at an alternative correctional facility.
Inside the facility, D’Souza interviews his fellow inmates. He wants to know what makes crooks tick and how they “pull it off.” So he talks to an inmate named “Rock” about The Con.
Post-sentence served, D’Souza visits Con Central. (I mean DNC-HQ.). D’Souza proceeds to systematically eviscerate the modern myth that is the Democratic Party. He deftly and expertly explodes the “party of social justice, economic opportunity, civil rights” and “champion of the poor, oppressed and down-trodden” Democratic clap-trap its shameless charlatans have peddled for decades.
Mixing narrative and interviews, D’Souza exposes the Democratic Party as the Party of Exploitation and Subjugation. Urban plantations, barrios, and ghettoes. Forced sterilizations. Slavery and enslavement. Massive corruption on a scale not seen since Judas and 30 pieces of silver.
Along the way, D’Souza shows us the ideological founders of the Party of Duplicity and Oppression: uber racists Andrew Jackson and John C. Calhoun. D’Souza also exposes the “The Big Switch” myth wherein racist Democrats allegedly crossed the aisle to become Republicans.
D’Souza also demonstrates how Democratic programs and policies are rooted in racism and racist politics. He explains how they’re still at it today – they’ve just revised and re-packaged The Con.
Notables you’ll meet during this film include the spunky Ida B. Wells and the true champions of the 13th Amendment and the Civil Rights Movement. (Hint: They’re not Dems.) Also Evita Peron. Saul Alinsky. Frank Giustra. Hillary darling Margaret Sanger. Juanita Broderick. Jonah Goldberg. Also serial swine Billy Boy. Graft. Fraud. Corruption. Or, as it’s known in Kamp Klinton, “Monday.”
Stop me if you’ve heard this before.
Tightly written and meticulously researched, the movie suffers from thin acting in places. That’s probably because it wasn’t underwritten by Clinton Foundation cronies. D’Souza appears on-screen throughout much of the movie. He also narrates.
Hillary’s America closes with D’Souza reminding us that Progressives like Ms. What Difference Does It Make? and her ideological soul mates – Saul Alinsky, Andrew Jackson and The Brothers Grimm – can’t take anything from us without our consent. We can reject Shrillary and her party’s multi-failed policies at the ballot box.
The nearest theater to me that’s currently screening Hillary’s America is over 50 miles away. It’s a small price to pay for this “Double D” film. You know who you are, you lyin’ soul. So Stand Up and Say So, damn it!
Even better, take some Progressive friends to see this movie. Extend an invitation in language they’ll understand: offer to pay their way out of someone else’s pocket.
D’Souza’s website has more information on the film and where to see it. Also see Hillary’s America The Movie.
