President Donald Trump meant business when he campaigned on restoring jobs businesses that have been decimated by the Obama Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) department. The president made good on his promise when he ordered the agency to remove its highly-politicized climate change page according to the Daily Caller. Even pro-job creation supporters had to be amazed how quickly the incoming president acted on his pledge, when within mere seconds after assuming office the White House global warming web page was removed.
The environmentalists are up in arms and are becoming unraveled over the president actions because they are claiming all of their work over the length of Obama’s administration will be lost or undone. To be honest, the latter part is in all probability 100% true. But, as to the former, their agency or any other environmentally related work will be preserved in the National Archive.
Bottom line, the Trump administration is not going to erase or eradicate previous government work products. That would be illegal and was more than acceptable in an Obama White House that protected former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton in her efforts to illegal destroy thousands of government documents and communications.
In addition to returning environmental sanity to the nation, the Trump administration went one step further to halt the EPA’s efforts to dampen economic growth in the nation. On Tuesday, the agency was also ordered to stop handing out environmental projects and pursuing research on global warming as well as, air quality monitoring and education, reported the Daily Caller. Of course, since the EPA employees were ordered to not talk with the press, their assertions were done through leaked sources.
Instead of giving into the liberal environmental activists’ lobby and national groups that exceeded the law in pursuing an anti-America growth agenda, the new administration has adopted an “America First Energy Policy,” on the White House America First Energy Plan webpage. It points out that, “President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule.”
America First is the clarion call that has been answered by President Trump. Millions of American workers that have seen their industries and jobs decimated by unwarranted and often illegal EPA regulations will be comforted by the White House America First Energy Plan when it states, “President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule. Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years.”
Environmental protection should not equal job killing economic destruction and President Trump understands this and the American people and businesses will soon reap the benefits.
