The arrest of five people last night , all Afghans on the Belt Parkway could very well point out a connection between the New York and both New Jersey bombings in Seaside Heights and last night’s Elizabeth train station discovery of five explosive devices. One of those devices went off last night as they tried to disarm it with the use of a robot. Investigators have already cited the possibility that the devices used in Chelsea, NYC, NY and seaside Heights were similar in nature and triggered the same way, using cell phones as triggers.
What makes me even more curious is the area where the five were picked up at, which was the Belt Parkway, under the Verrazano Bridge. The arrest was made shortly after the discovery of the five explosive devices in Elizabeth. If I were going to go from Elizabeth to any borough in New York, I’d take the Belt Parkway or 278, which come extremely close near the Verrazano Bridge. Coincidentally, it is also a convenient way to take the Outerbridge Crossing in order to hit the Garden State Parkway to Toms River, NJ, the exit that takes you to Seaside Heights.
The Outerbridge Crossing connects Staten Island with Perth Amboy, NJ. The five Afghans that were picked up were said to have a large cache of weapons with them. Granted, there is nothing yet to suggest a conspiracy to commit terrorism. Further, there have been no charges filed against the five Afghans arrested. That’s why I am writing this as an opinion piece instead of hard news.
My theory is that the five Afghans (With or without aid from others) committed the all three bombings in New York, Elizabeth and Seaside Heights using explosives. Obama will claim that it was Colonel Mustard in the conservatory with a stalk of celery.
That is my theory, now let’s see how it plays out.
