Detroit’s police chief made a bold statement today: “Armed citizens deter terrorists!” Finally someone else that makes complete sense. He went on to say that “If you’re a terrorist, or a carjacker, you want unarmed citizens.”
The Chief also said that he believes the number of armed citizens in the city would deter would-be terrorists from carrying out attacks similar to those in Paris for fear of return fire.
