G7 go take a hike: Trump refuses to sign Paris Climate Control Agreement

Despite the climate change fanatics who urged President Trump to fall in line with other G7 countries and agreement to implement the Paris climate agreement he has refused to the phony tree huggers like Obama. Instead, the U.S. has refused to sign the statement according to the Daily Caller. This is a clear sign that when the president issued executive orders earlier to dismantle the regulatory regime Obama created to meet his Paris pledge, the new MAGA president was dead serious.

Last year, during the presidential campaign then candidate Trump promised supporters that he would withdraw from the Paris agreement, which went into effect in 2016.  The previous president made every effort to allow the United Nations to dictate America’s greenhouse gas emissions environmental policy to the nation’s detriment, the new president does not support United Nations’ edicts.

In fact, a majority of Capital Hill Republicans oppose the Paris agreement, which would lock the United States into mandated emissions cuts 26 to 28 percent by 2025. Instead Energy Secretary Rick Perry is advocating that the G7 include support for coal and natural gas in its statement.

Unlike President Obama who made a commitment to weaponize the EPA and use it to bankrupt the American coal mining industry, President Trump and his energy secretary believe that these policies to support coal and natural gas will benefit others as well as the United States.

Secretary Perry emphasized, other nations need to support a commitment to “[h]igh efficiency, low-emission coal and natural gas with adequate financing from multi-lateral development banks and private sector investment,” according to the Daily Caller.
