Seth Rogan is a hypocrite, he has made a weak movie full of stereo types. I have come to the conclusion that they produced this movie, believing, “any publicity is good publicity”. If this is the case, than they have hit the nail on the head for all the wrong reasons. But let me ask you, if you are doing animation with a talking potato, does it not come to reason it would have an Irish accent? Or a taco, a Mexican accent? The gags are corny and weak, but look at the audience he is pandering to, high school, college kids just looking for a few weak laughs. The old Warner Brothers cartoons with Bugs Bunny are the hall mark of animation, but now shunned because of said dialog. This is surprising in many respects, that he a Liberal of great conscious would do this film, but then again we have to make a living, don’t we?
The beef from the SJWs (Social Justice Warriors) revolves around the racial stereotypes of some of the foods in the Sony movie. An Arabic loaf of lavash (voiced by David Krumholtz ) riffs on the 77 bottles of extra-virgin olive oil awaiting him in the next life. Also causing offense is an Irish potato who sings [Irish ballad] “Danny Boy” and whose catchphrase is “Jesus! F**k!”Other comedic elements of the film that have galvanized the SJWs: Salma Hayek voicing a Mexican taco, a Native American bottle of Firewater (which quips he had settled in the grocery store first before getting shoved in the backroom), and some Nazi German sauerkraut dedicated to”exterminating the juice” compound.
I cannot see anyone with a modest I.Q. putting down 8 dollars to watch this , but there will be a market for a week or two. If it is to Sexist, to Racist don’t go to see it and it will go away. We need to stop listening to the thought police and decide for ourselves if it good or bad. What do you think?
