Libs Hoping For BIG ‘Blue Wave’ Aren’t Going To Like Rush’s Latest Prediction

Rush Limbaugh predicts the GOP will clobber the Democrats in the upcoming midterms. Not only does he think we will pick up seats in the U.S. Senate (as expected), the king of conservative talk radio predicts Republicans will retain the House come November.

Speaking with Sean Hannity on Fox News, El Rushbo said people will not be saying Speaker Nancy Pelosi anytime soon.

“We hold the House and increase the Senate,” Limbaugh said in an interview set to air Thursday night on Fox News’ “Hannity” at 9 p.m. ET.

Limbaugh added, “I think the Democrat Party deserves to lose in the biggest single electoral landslide defeat in my lifetime because of the actions they’ve taken just in the last month.”

Despite this being their year to take back Congress, the Democrats managed to mobilize Republicans for the midterms due to their horrific treatment of Brett Kavanaugh in his bid for the United States Supreme Court. As DW’s James Barrett reported:

Multiple polls have found similar results regarding voter enthusiasm amid the Kavanaugh battle that should have Democrats very worried. A new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll published Wednesday found that the significant enthusiasm advantage the Democrats once enjoyed just three months ago has evaporated. ‘In July, there was a 10-point gap between the number of Democrats and Republicans saying the November elections were ‘very important,” NPR reports. ‘Now, that is down to 2 points, a statistical tie.’

In July, 78% of Democrats and 68% of Republicans said the election was “very important.” Now, 82% of Democrats and 80% of Republicans say it is very important. Independents’ enthusiasm has remained largely unchanged: 64% in July, 65% in October.

While polls certainly show voter enthusiasm for the GOP, the Democrats are still slated to take back the House. Rush Limbaugh says, however, that people should be skeptical of the polls.
