The blood-thirsty liberals that claim that Planned Parenthood is for women’s health has fallen apart. For, weeks we have heard that the government funded slaughter houses are there to provide medical services to women, such as mammograms and pap smears. The proverbial house of cards came crashing down though during Tuesday’s House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on the taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood’s president, Cecile Richards, faced intense questioning from Republicans who have been intent on exposing the lies. Planned Parenthood first lie to be exposed was that only three percent of their services were attributed to abortions, but that turned out to be false. The Hill reported that Richards was asked to divide the number of patients Planned Parenthood saw last year by the number of abortions, the answer was 12 percent.

What is even more shocking is that even once government funding is taken out of the equation 86 percent of Planned Parenthood’s revenue comes from abortions. That is a whole lot of murder if you ask me.

Another lie that was exposed was that Richards claimed that PP offered services such as mammograms and even touted that little gem on CNN in 2011. When Rep. Mia Love (R-Utah) asked if the PP offices offered this service, Richards conceded that they did not. Richards stated that none of the 650 to 700 facilities offer mammograms, nor do they even have the equipment.

Rep. Diane Black, the founder of the bill to end government funding of PP, asked Richards to explain how this bill would block women from accessing health care she was stumped and provided no real answer.

Lastly, Rep. Steve Russell asked the most important question of the whole day, If federal funds do not go to abortion services, would ending federal funding reduce abortion services? Russell has now cleverly trapped her with this question. If she admits that federal funding goes to abortion, then Planned Parenthood is violating federal law. If she admits that ending federal funding doesn’t reduce abortion services then you undercut the defense of Planned Parenthood’s funding. Richards had no real answer and was stumped.

Another nail in the proverbial coffin was the damning videos that shed light on the Planned Parenthood atrocities. For months, we have heard that the videos were doctored and “selectively edited” however, two forensic examinations found that to be false. As The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway reported, both forensic reports, including one commissioned by Planned Parenthood, “assert that there is no dubbing or alteration to the audio and no evidence of misrepresentative editing.”

Pretty much Tuesday was not a good day for Planned Parenthood at all. Their own president and boss had to admit to a number of contradictions that she had no answer to. This committee shredded apart the lies that have shrouded the Planned Parenthood machine for years. Finally, the voice of the unborn may finally be heard and these senseless murders will no longer be funded by taxpayers dollars.
