Sources Say Fast Food Exec Puzder is Trump’s Labor Secretary

Andrew Puzder, fast food executive, will lead the Department of Labor. Transitions sources told FOX News that he was President Elect Trump’s pick.

labor-1Puzder, CEO of CKE Restaurants Inc., which owns Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, is a Trump adviser and critical of the Affordable Care Act’s impact on full-time employment.

He is opposed to steep increases in minimum wage and damaging effects of over-regulation.labor-4

Puzder has been on board with Trump as one of his earliest campaign financiers and was a co-chairman of Trump’s California finance team. He was also a an advisor and spokesman for Mitt Romney in 2012.

With the announcement of Pruitt at the EPA, Puzder could make significant changes at the Labor Department.

All these nominations must be confirmed but they strongly go against what Obama has been pushing during his administration.

It looks like big changes are coming in 2017 with a very different type of administration that Trump is putting together than Obama had in place.
