The Vassar branch of the Students for Justice in Palestine has kicked off a new fund raiser. They are selling tee shirts with a picture of Leila Khaled, holding a machine gun in the air. For those of you who may not know who Leila Khaled is, she is a Palestinian terrorist who was involved in two plane hijackings in the late 60s, early 70s. She was a prisoner in an the UK until she became part of a prisoner swap.
Anti Semetism is rife on college campuses these days, particularly highlighted on the campuses of liberal colleges and universities across the United States and the world. That’s because college students are a special kind of stupid.
I have an idea. Israel should start an education program and invite students from the United States to visit during a period of Palestinian rocket attacks. It would be interesting to see if they run out of the bomb shelter, so they can be hit by the rockets in order to wipe out their white guilt, although it’s more likely that they would demand safe spaces. It would be interesting if you let them ask Hamas for the safe spaces in person.
