In an interview with News 12, an NBC local affiliate in Arizona, Bernie Sanders walked of at about the two minute mark because he didn’t like the questions he was being asked about his votes on illegal immigration and comments he had made on Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Brahm Resnick, the reporter conducting the interview had asked Bernie Sanders about his wife’s visit to “Tent City”, the prison Sheriff Arpaio erected in order to permanently reform criminals in his county or at least convince them to leave. Sander’s wife is steeped in her own scandal where she may have defrauded the state of Vermont.
Evidently the questions were too hard on him. Resnick said Sanders is the first politician to walk out on an interview. Here is the video:
