swing

Colin Furze, 36, has built the UK’s only 360 degree swing that goes higher than their house and has no safety straps.  To be honest, I got sick just watching him do the 360s in this video.  His son will have to wait a while before he can use the swing his father built for him because he is only three years old.  When you are sailing above the house, you are upside down with no safety features whatsoever.  Better him than me.

Spinning around: The frame is a massive 18ft tall and the axle, which spins him round is 16ft 5ins

Not for the faint hearted: The ultimate swing can go higher than the house and spins the thrillseeker upside downNot for the faint hearted: The ultimate swing can go higher than the house and spins the thrillseeker upside down

The 360-degree swing has a 25 kilo drum of water on one end of the axle to off-set Colin's weight

Colin, who also has a one-year-old daughter, had to build a huge winch to pull the central axle into place and fix it in positionColin, who also has a one-year-old daughter, had to build a huge winch to pull the central axle into place and fix it in position

'I put my feet between two pegs and hold onto the handle bars, then swing in the normal way,' says Colin

Sadly for Colin's son Jake, he will have to wait a few years before he gets a taste for heights in Stamford
