Colin Kaepernick has used his Constitutional right of “free speech” to not stand during the playing of the National Anthem. Now we do have the right to express ourselves; however, that does not release us from the consequence of our actions. In this case, Kaepernick is feeling the heat, and I literally mean “the heat.” Since he decided to protest, people all over the country are burning his jersey. Sales have spiked just so they can burn his jersey in protest of his protest…You have got to love America for this one. Capitalism at its finest.

If Kaepernick does not want to stand that is fine, but the Marine pictured below lost his legs, and his ability to stand all for Kaepernick’s right to not stand. The caption said it all.

So to sum this up, we all have the right to free speech, but we are not free from the consequence of our actions…class dismissed!
