SUPERIOR, WI – Amazing video of planes colliding while skydivers attempt a jump is making the rounds on social media. Multiple angles of the crash were captured by the skydivers. The video did not appear in many of the original news reports because NBC News had exclusive rights to the footage.

Two planes carrying a total of nine skydivers were flying 12,000 feet over Superior, Wisconsin on November 2, 2013. The wings disconnected from one of the planes when the planes collided. This caused a fiery explosion.

All 9 of the skydivers and the pilots landed safely. One of the pilots was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor cuts. Mike Robinson tells FOX 21, he and his fellow jumpers feel very fortunate to have walked away from this horrific accident.
