Snow and Icy conditions have caused a 30 vehicle pileup in Michigan near the state capital of Lansing.
Authorities say two people, possibly three are dead and others are hurt. Michigan State police are blaming slippery conditions.
The l-96 highway was forced to close in both directions after the Thursday morning crash.
Several other crashes have been reported on Detroit area freeways.
Lake-effect snow conditions have arisen from cold air that’s moved into the region. A few inches are expected in mid-Michigan and southeastern Michigan can get an inch of less forecasters are predicting.
My advice is don’t travel in icy conditions if you don’t have to.
