Breaking Reports Of Two Officers Shot In NH, Suspect At Large

Breaking reports coming out of New Hampshire are saying two police officers have been shot and a manhunt for the suspect is currently underway.

From TheBlaze:

Manchester Police Chief Nick Willard said early Friday that the two officers were shot at separate locations after 2 a.m. and they are recovering at hospitals and expected to be OK.

“There was a series of rapid-fire shots, probably 10-12 of them. And I knew they were close by, I just didn’t know where. And within 30 seconds, cruisers were over here,” Bob McKenna, who was near the second shooting, told WMUR-TV.

Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas says the officers “seem to be fine.”

There was no immediate word on the extent of officers’ injuries or conditions.

No details about the shootings have been released.

Willard says police are searching for the suspected shooter, described as a white man with long hair who is wearing a trench coat. He is considered armed and dangerous. A Massachusetts state police helicopter is assisting in the search for a suspect.

A number of schools on Manchester’s west side have been closed Friday, and some residents have been told to shelter in place due the search for the suspected shooter.
