The shocking images showed the toddler having what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage poured down his throat with an upset look on his face. “Look how he drinks,” the caption on the photo reportedly read.
The photo, posted in January, remained on the mother’s Facebook page for several weeks without incident. Later that month, she posted a series of photos showing her son smoking a cigarette that was lit by an adult.
The caption that was posted alongside the photos read, “My cute baby, you’re high, from your mother.”
The mother quickly removed the photos after followers expressed their outrage, though they’d already been captured by concerned individuals and shared across social media.
The mother was flooded with messages from people slamming her for the outrageous, disturbing images.
Authorities were reportedly alerted to the photos, though the woman’s identity has yet to be revealed.
