This man is a modern-day Noah… How else could he have gotten all of the dogs out?

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB/NNS) – People were escaping the flood waters any way they could in parts of Louisiana over the weekend. This man said he parked his car on higher ground early, then used an air mattress to go back and get his dogs.

He braved flood waters to save eight dogs and three puppies Saturday. He used a blow up mattress to move them across several feet of water and to his car.

He told a reporter nearby he left his car parked on higher ground overnight in case waters began to rapidly rise, which they did. He said there was three feet of water in his house, and water was still rising.
